Design
Design is at our core. Our Clubhouses and Houses seamlessly blend premium aesthetics with local traditions, honouring the rich heritage of each neighbourhood and the work of local artisans. The concept design was created in partnership between our team of interior designers and architects, the award-winning designer team AvroKO, and local artists.
Partnering with Local Artists and Designers
Our team of designers has been working with local artists since the inception of Ando Living. Over 70% of the interior designs in our Portuguese residences are crafted in Portugal, and 90% in our Turkish residences are designed and made in Turkey.
LOCAL CERAMICS
All our apartments and shared spaces display Ando Living’s signature design, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Our design concept was created in partnership between our team of interior designers and architects, and internationally acclaimed designer team AvroKO. Each unique apartment is inspired by local neighbourhoods and artists.
LOCAL ART AND DESIGN
We partnered with Portuguese art studio GRAUº Cerâmica for their stunning mask art pieces displayed in Santa Catarina House in Porto and Augusta House in Lisbon; and artists Farinha Rosa for their exquisite artwork showcased in Madalena House and future Santos House, due to open in 2025. We are proud that these incredible artists chose our residences to showcase their art.
LOCALLY MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS
For our Lisbon Rooftop, all curtains have been custom made in Lisbon by Florbela Imagination, and our beautifully arranged weekly flower bouquets come from the Lucien Blondel floral studio in Lisbon. We also collaborate with Maison Angea from Coimbra for our arranged dried flowers in the Ando Living Santos House apartments and shared spaces.
Celebrating art and communities with exclusive events
Year-round, we support and host major art and design events, offering our guests unique opportunities to engage with the local art scene.
Lisbon art shows
We are proud to regularly support Lisbon’s art scene. Recently, we hosted the opening and closing ceremonies of Lisbon Design Week at our exclusive Ando Living rooftop near Avenida da Liberdade, where artists like Sam Baron and Vasco Águas debuted their work and mingled with guests, friends and the press. We are thrilled to have them as part of our Ando community.
We are also hosting Lisbon Art Weekend, further connecting our guests to the city’s vibrant cultural landscape.
Celebrating local initiatives
We regularly organise curated events to promote new initiatives and bring together entrepreneurs, influencers and the Ando Living community in art, fashion and design. We have hosted podcasts, talks and workshops at our rooftop in Lisbon, with many more planned in the future. So stay tuned for our upcoming events!
